My go to cafe for price, music, decor, friendly staff and atmosphere. The cafe is central to Derby Centre. The front window does not give this cafe a good impression but when inside you will not be disappointed. The food is great, wonderful atmosphere, music and decor, prices are brilliant and staff are outstanding. Please give this cafe a try and you will see what I mean. Brilliant keep up the good work guys. Just been awarded the winner of the best cafe by the Food and Drinks standards.
I cannot believe such a nice coffee exists in Derby, the decor and the place inside was just stunning, surprised by it, it's very crowded Saturday but still nice! Their coffee and specially latte was something else, superb it smells great and tastes wonderful! Real Italian coffee! The only thing I wish they would open Sundays, as well I really wish if they can add croissants or brioches to their menu for people who like to enjoy such a thing with a coffee
Stumbled upon this place when on a day trip to Derby. It was heaving, so gave it a try and did not disappoint. Great food and value for money (the salads are enormous). Once you get inside it has a real Med vibe. The staff at the bar are friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you. The only slight dismerit was the lack of interest from the young waiting staff but we all know how hard it is to get young people to work these days. Do not let that put you off and try this place out
Really lovely cosy cafe with good coffee and three floors of space. Huge bummer though that with all that space there's no WiFi! It's so close to being a great study spot, but that was a pretty big letdown.
Lunch at Derby's Best Cafe Villabella located on Babington Lane in the city centre. When we heard our favourite Grand Cafe Caruso that we had visited for years had closed,we were gutted. This is where they have re-located to. We did visit in their early days of opening, but they hadn't sorted out the full menu then. As we were in Derby, it was the ideal chance to try them out again,now they have settled in. Have you ever dined on the Italian Riviera? If not,this is as close as you'll get to it in Derby. Once you step inside, the decor transports you to the Amalfi Coast in Italy.It's very light and spacious. We headed upstairs to find a table on the upstairs terrace/balcony for the views (of the downstairs). It was great to see the menu again,with some old favourites and new additions. There's so much to choose from and spoilt for choice. We eventually chose a firm favourite, the Prawn & tuna salad £9.95. Which comes on a giant plate and served with coleslaw and a fresh baguette. Italian Toasty £5.95 Ham & Cheese with fried egg on top served with a side salad of tomato,basil,olives in olive oil & onion dressing. To drink,a couple of Morettis. All we needed now was the sunshine We couldn't come here and not have one of their famous oven baked jacket potatoes. Back downstairs to order a cheese & beans delight £4.55 with a couple of their lovely Italian coffees. The friendly staff bring your order to the table when it's ready. The potato was huge and served in a bowl, which prevents the spillage of the copious amount of beans. The quality and portions are very good value. It was so good to back in Italy,oh sorry Derby

This newly opened establishment is truly stunning. The beautiful decor will transport you to the island of Capri instantly. This has to be my new favourite place. Lovely teas and coffees at a reasonable price.A visit is a must!
